OUR
PURPOSE
We desire to provide a
stream of hope for our region. By
doing this, people will experience
God's love and recognize that Jesus
offers them life in abundance.
All who accept this life will be made
whole and they will receive new power
for each day. This power will help
them - even in the dry times - to
remain strong and unwavering.
DOCTRINE
The
foundational doctrines of the
International Protestant Fellowship
Church, Donaueschingen.
The Bible is the only inspired,
inerrant and trustworthy word of God.
(II Timothy 3:16)
There is only one God. He reveals
Himself in three Persons: God the
Father, God the Son and God the Holy
Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew
28:19)
Jesus Christ is unique:
We believe in the divinity of our
Lord Jesus Christ; in His virgin
birth; in His sinless life; in His
miracles; in His vicarious, atoning
death; in His physical resurrection;
in His ascent to heaven to the right
hand of the Father and in His
personal, future return to this Earth
in power and glory where He will
reign for a thousand years. (John
1:1)
There is a blessed hope: the glorious
appearance of Jesus Christ. We
believe that His church will be
raptured when He returns. (I
Thessalonians 4:17, Titus 2:13)
There is only one path that leads to
forgiveness of sins: repentance and
faith in Jesus Christ. (John 14:6)
The new birth and regeneration
through the Holy Spirit are
absolutely necessary in order to be
saved. (Titus 3:5, John 3:3-5)
Baptism by immersion, after one has
accepted Jesus as Savior, is an
important testimony that one
identifies himself with Christ.
Baptism shows that the believer is
ready to die to self and that he has
a new life in Christ. (Matthew 28:19)
The redeeming work of Jesus Christ on
the cross provides physical healing
for the body. (I Peter 2:24)
The baptism and gifts of the Holy
Spirit are for all believers who obey
God. (Acts 11:15-16)
The power of the Holy Spirit enables
the Christian to lead a holy life.
(Galatians 5:16-25)
There will be a resurrection of the
saved to eternal life and of the lost
to eternal damnation. (Revelation
20:11-15)
OUR MISSION
To relate the
life-changing truth of Jesus through:
worship that originates in the heart,
biblical teaching
and loving fellowship.
We experience these elements via
dynamic church services, in lively
house circles and in an enthusiastic
children's work.
OUR VISION
To be a fellowship of
people who allow Christ to work daily
in their lives. The desired results:
To be transformed into His image.
To let Jesus reign in our lives.
To lead others to Jesus.
